For simple accidents, it will take an average of seven to ten business days for your report to be processed and available for pickup. It will take approximately the same amount of time to receive your report via mail after you have sent in your request. For complex accidents that involved fatalities, a crime, or significant bodily injuries, it may take several weeks or months before your report is available.

Eligible persons who can obtain a copy of an unredacted collision report include all parties involved in the accident, the parent or legal guardian of A minor, vehicle owners, insurance companies, accident attorneys, and law enforcement officers.
