You can get a copy of your Philadelphia police report at AccidentReports.com, or you can go through the Philadelphia Police Department or other local law enforcement agencies. The Philadelphia Police Department offers two ways to obtain a copy of your traffic report.

In-Person from the Philadelphia Police Department

Request Your Report from the Philadelphia Police Department By Mail

Fill out the online Records Request Form, print it, and mail it to: Philadelphia Police Headquarters Department of Records Traffic Accident Reports Room 170, City Hall Philadelphia, PA 19107You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope and the appropriate fee.

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh accident reports can cost $10-$25 per copy.

You must provide the following information:

• Date of the collision
• Name of one of the drivers involved
• Location of the accident
• District control number
• Photo of your government-issued photo ID or driver’s license

• The crash narrative is written by the responding police officer and includes their opinion regarding how and why the accident occurred and which driver was at fault.
• Any citations that were issued
• A non-violent or violent crime committed
• Civilian complaints
• Minor offenses
• Contact information for all parties involved
• Witness contact information and statements
• Date and time of the accident
• Location of the accident
• VINs and license plate numbers
• Driver’s license numbers
• Police unit, police division, in addition to the police officer’s name and badge number
• Other accident details, such as the exact position of each vehicle, descriptions of personal injuries and vehicle damage, road and weather conditions, etc.

If you’re unable to locate your report from the Philadelphia Police Department, you’ll need to check with separate police departments, including the county sheriff’s office to determine which law enforcement agency filed your report.
