Online Public Records Requests-Official Crash Record

Visit the South Portland Police Department Record Division’s website and fill out an online form to request a copy of your traffic report. If it was a fatal crash, copies of accident reports will not be released online.

You must wait at least three business days before you request a copy of your Portland Police Bureau collision report. Reports may be available within ten business days. If it was a deadly crash or the accident involved a bodily injury, or a crime, a report may be unavailable for several weeks or months, due to an ongoing investigation.

The charge for copies of police reports is $4-$16 per copy.
