You can get a copy of your Madera police report at AccidentReports.com, or you can go through the Central Marin Police Authority. The Central Marin Police Authority offers two ways to request a copy of your traffic crash report.

In-Person

By Phone

Contact the station by phone to request your report. In most cases, you can pick up your report in person, seven to ten business days after you have made your request. You must fill out a Report Request Form at the station, at the time of pick up.

Central Marin Police Authority accident reports are $10 per copy.

Crash reports are legal documents that are filled out by police officers at the scene of an accident. These documents contain basic information such as:

• Accident type, such as hit-and-run-collision, two-vehicle crash, highway crash, etc.
• Any major injuries noted
• The names, phone numbers, and mailing address of all parties involved,

• Any arrests made

Eligible persons who can obtain a copy of an unredacted Madera County crash report include all parties involved in the collision, vehicle owners, insurance companies, injury lawyers, the parent or legal guardian of a minor, and law enforcement agencies.

After filing accident reports, the reports must be reviewed and approved before you can request them. Accidents involving major incidents will take longer to process.
